THE SAMHAIN DIET: Goodfellow & Skipp provide a few tasty treats for Halloween

I came across this on the Shocklines Forum last night, and consequently I can now predict the future, this halloween I will be mostly reading...

...COPPING SQUID, a new collection of the Cthulhu Mythos fiction of Michael Shea (Polyphemus, "The Autopsy"), through my outfit, Perilous Press.

While the website's still in drydock, we should be taking pre-orders next week for a Halloween release.

The book will be available as a hardcover and a signed, limited, with glorious art inside and out by Steve Gilberts.

If this release works out, we've tapped Lovecraft biographer/editor S.T. Joshi to curate an ongoing line of new cosmic horror works, and at some point in the near future, we will be open to submissions.

And this October, the first collection of my own short fiction, SILENT WEAPONS FOR QUIET WARS, will be released by Jeremy Robert Johnson's Swallowdown Press.

This one will be a cheap trade paperback, with a cover by the inestimable Alan Clark.

Finally, this October sees the release of the new Skipp & Goodfellow joint, THE DAY BEFORE.

A limited 300-copy novella release from Bad Moon Books with cover art by me, this one should be available at WFC in San Jose.

This thing is miles apart from anything Skipp or I have ever attempted before, and we are way too fucking proud of it.

So, yeah, that's about it… except for a foreword I wrote to a new illustrated chapbook edition of "The Shadow Over Innsmouth," and new fiction coming out in THE BLEEDING EDGE, CTHULHU'S DARK CULTS, TALES OUT OF MISKATONIC UNIVERSITY, Cemetery Dance #62, Dark Discoveries #15. Look for all of these to come out in, or just before, October.

So… what're you guys gonna be for Halloween?

Thanks,
Cody
